You'll also receive all attachments as a downloadable ZIP with transaction mapping documentation, plus a ready-to-use QuickBooks Desktop company file that has been verified for data integrity.

Will there be any downtime during my migration?

No. We work from a backup snapshot of your QuickBooks Online company, so you can continue using QuickBooks Online while we build and verify your migrated company file.

How much of my data will be migrated?

Accepted Answer

Your migration covers the data captured in the backup snapshot taken at the start of the project. Any transactions or changes made in QuickBooks Online after that snapshot won't be included in the migrated data.

Do I need to prepare anything before a Desktop migration?

Accepted Answer

If a customer, vendor, or account involved in a past transaction has been marked inactive in QuickBooks Online, it needs to be reactivated before we take the backup. This ensures the related transaction can be migrated correctly. This preparation is only required for QBO to Desktop migrations.

What access do you need from me?

We may ask you to temporarily disable multi-factor authentication on your QuickBooks Online account during the migration window. This allows our team to reconcile the migrated data against your source account and verify that everything matches correctly.

What do I receive once the migration is finished?

For QBO to Desktop migrations, you'll receive a ready-to-use QuickBooks Desktop company file along with your attachment package and mapping documentation. For QBO to QBO migrations, your data is transferred directly into the destination QuickBooks Online account.
